Afhco Property Management (Pty) Ltd, which was established in 1998, is tasked with the challenge of managing the investment properties owned by Afhco Holdings, and the tenants that reside in the properties, in order to sustain yields on investments and enhance their economic value.

The Company has a proven record of accomplishment in the industry with a history of minimal residential and commercial vacancy and negligible bad debt.

Today, Afhco Property Management is recognized as the leading managing agent of rental accommodation in the Johannesburg inner-city and its surrounds.

The company works closely with other role players such as CID Forum, SAPS, various CID boards, JDA, CJP and the Johannesburg City Council while also being a founding member of the Johannesburg Property Owners and Managing Agents Association (JPOMA).

Afhco Property Management ensures properties are well-managed, clean, and safe, thus creating an environment where tenants can feel proud of their homes.

This is achieved through maintaining our relationships and communication with the tenant base, enforcing building rules, preventing overcrowding and noise pollution and through effective building maintenance.

Afhco Property Management (Pty) Ltd is registered with the Estate Agency Affair Board as an Estate Agent. The Company operates trust accounts where monies are paid into by tenants / owners and has a current and valid Fidelity Fund Certificate issues by the EAAB. The Company’s auditors audit these trust accounts annually.

Human Resources

The Afhco Group believes in developing the skill levels of staff members to maintain the high standards and quality services delivered to clients.

The Afhco Group currently employs over 120 personnel directly at our head office buildings. Training is provided to all permanent staff as part of the company’s empowerment program.

We’ve also created roughly 700 jobs through our outsourcing projects.

The Group has a well-established employment equity and skills development program. This is maintained with focused strategy and regular committee meetings. Afhco has achieved great success in the development and promotion of affirmative action employees.
